Our preschoolers had a royal day in the library! After reading The King of Kindergarten, they practiced our “royal rules,” played Queen Says, went on a book hunt, and explored books they might want to read someday. Of course, every king and queen needed their own crown! 👑❤️📖

What Happens at the Tour?
Weather Class: Meteorologists and on-air staff host an interactive, fun weather school class featuring scientific and fiery demonstrations (like tornado machines or liquid nitrogen clouds).
Meet and Greet: Attendees can meet KY3 news anchors, meteorologists, and staff, take photos, and get autographs.
Live Broadcasts: The station broadcasts live portions of KY3 News during the 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. hours from the tour location.
Community Partners: Local emergency managers, fire departments, and law enforcement attend to share safety information.
Giveaways: Children often receive free bicycle helmets (courtesy of local sponsors while supplies last), and visitors can win station prizes during trivia contests.

New Pick-up and Drop-off Procedures
Please review the attached map before the first day of school, as our pick-up and drop-off procedures for Pk - 8th grade students have changed!
Pick-Up & Drop-Off Times
- Morning: Doors will not open for students until 7:30 a.m. Please do not drop students off before this time.
- Afternoon: Parents may not begin lining up for pick-up until 2:40 p.m. Please do not line up early and block the road.
Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up
- Parents will enter from EE and follow the red arrows on the map.
- Please remain in your vehicle while in the pick-up line.
- Staff will assist students with getting into vehicles.
- If you need to get out of your vehicle to buckle your child, please pull into the designated parking lot after your child has been loaded.
- Please have your car tag visible during pick-up.
- If you did not receive your car tags at Meet the Teacher Night, they will be sent home with your student on the first day of school.
- Follow the red arrows to exit back onto EE.
Bus Drop-Off & Pick-Up
- Buses will use the west side of the school (front entrance) for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
- Bus traffic will follow the yellow arrows shown on the map.
- Please keep the bus lane clear during arrival and dismissal.
We are excited about our new pick-up and drop-off procedures and believe these changes will help us provide a safer and smoother arrival and dismissal for our students and families.

Congratulations to Sophomore, Addy Asbury, for being selected and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Table Rock Lake to attend Missouri RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Academy.) RYLA is a leadership academy for incoming high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who exhibit a heart for community service. The Academy is designed to identify and enhance the qualities of servant leadership for each participant, educate them on how to successfully implement a service project, and inspire them to live a lifetime of "Service Above Self."
She was able to talk about her experience and what she learned at RYLA today at the Rotary Club Meeting. Way to go Addy!
